A major programme to replace the original overhead line equipment between Laindon/Stanford-le-Hope and Shoeburyness will be carried out during the Christmas - New year period.
A major programme to replace the original overhead line equipment between Laindon/Stanford-le-Hope and Shoeburyness will be carried out during the Christmas - New year period.
This means that, in addition to the Christmas shut down of services on 25 and 26 December, there will be no train service east of Laindon or Stanford-le-Hope Wednesday 27 December - Monday 1 January inclusive.
