Cycle Mark Award for c2c
c2c have won an award for their contribution to integrated travel which recognises the improvements made for bicycle users.
The annual award ceremony, sponsored by the Strategic Rail Authority (SRA) and Cycle Mark, took place at Marylebone Railway station, London and saw c2c presented with a certificate for the advances made, both on-board and at the stations, for the many cyclist's on the route.
c2c is the only train operating company whose entire fleet is equipped with easy access sliding doors. Once on-board there is a dedicated, signed storage area as well as a simple and effective strapping method to secure bicycles in place.
