Changes to services on c2c: 9-15 June

04 June 2007

From Monday 11 June to Thursday 14 June inclusive there will be late night engineering work on two sections of the route.

There are no engineering works planned for c2c on Saturday 9 or Sunday 10 June so a normal service will run on all routes.

From Monday 11 June to Thursday 14 June inclusive, however, there will be late night engineering work on two sections of the route. After 2240, therefore, trains between Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness will be diverted via Rainham, as the line between Barking and Pitsea via Laindon, and between Upminster and Grays via Ockendon will be closed. Buses will replace trains between Barking and Pitsea via Laindon and between Barking and Grays via Ockendon. Customers for Upminster and beyond may also use the LUL District line between Barking and Upminster and change to replacement bus services.

Travelling times, where part or all of the journey involves bus transfer, will be extended and passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to carry cycles, prams and bulky luggage on the replacement coach services.

Details of all c2c services, including the amended services for the above evenings, can be obtained by calling 08457 48 49 50.
