c2c has demonstrated yet again that it fully merits its reputation as the country' s most punctual and reliable train operator, coming top of the punctuality league for the last complete 4 week period ending 21 August.
c2c has demonstrated yet again that it fully merits its reputation as the country' s most punctual and reliable train operator, coming top of the punctuality league for the last complete 4 week period ending 21 August. An impressive 95% of all trains during the period arrived at their destination on time.
Route Director Kevin Frazer said: Once again all out hard work, and the joint programme we have put together and implemented with Network Rail have proved their worth. This is very encouraging for all of us here at c2c, but also for our customers who can be reassured that the improvements that have taken c2c from the Misery Line to top of the national performance league have not been a flash in the pan - it is sustained and we are putting as much effort into maintaining the levels we have reached as we have done in achieving them. There is no room for complacency.
c2c's sister company within the National Express Group, Silverlink, came second in the league for the same period with 92.6% of all trains meeting the punctuality targets.
