c2c rewards loyal customers with free membership to Capital Club
Capital Club launched to all current annual season ticket holders offering over £2,000 worth of travel and leisure discounts.
c2c has announced the launch of Capital Club, its new loyalty scheme for annual season ticket holders. The move is part of c2c's continuing efforts to improve customer service and includes free membership and a comprehensive package of special offers totaling over £2,000.
Members can benefit from up to £500 off cruise holidays, up to £75 off city breaks and up to £150 off summer and winter holidays, as well as numerous other savings on services such as car hire, travel insurance and cinema tickets.*
Capital Club membership also entitles season ticket holders access to offers across the London Lines network including the Weekend Ranger ticket - allowing unlimited travel on any of the c2c, Silverlink or WAGN routes - for themselves and up to three adults and four children.
"This new initiative is our way of thanking our season ticket holders for their continued support and also to encourage those who might have decided to use other forms of transport through our transition period, to take a second look at what we have to offer," explained c2c Route Director, David Taylor.
"At c2c, we are taking a fresh approach to rail travel. We have invested £300 million in replacing all our old trains with brand new stock. We've also spent £50 million improving security in car parks and making our stations more attractive places to be. On top of the investment in services, we are committed to ensuring our customers get value for money and our special offers benefit commuters and leisure travellers alike."
The main development programme, now being completed, means that c2c passengers are the first in the country to have a fleet of new, air-conditioned, high-tech trains operating along their line. Having completed a total transformation since privatisation, c2c aims to become the benchmark railway for the 21st century.
The improvements in facilities and the re-focused company are already beginning to show results. The latest c2c figures on reliability and punctuality for the period December to the beginning of March show significant progress. The percentage of trains operating on time increased from 68.6 to 94.6 per cent and the percentage of time-tabled trains running increased from 96.6 to 98.5 per cent.
