c2c punctuality improves yet again
Punctuality on c2c has improved yet again according to figures for the four weeks ending 30 April. All day punctuality rose to 94.7% (up 1.7% on the previous month) while 99.5% of all trains shown in the timetable actually ran, also slightly up on the previous period. Delighted Route Director Leila Frances said: "This further improvement in our services is wonderful news for our customers as they can now be confident that if they want to catch a c2c train it will be there for them and run on time. A safe and reliable service is the priority for our customers. I am proud of my team who, along with colleagues in Network Rail, have made this happen, and we will be pulling out all the stops to maintain this high quality of service. Rest assured there is no room for complacency. Having reached such a high level of service, the challenge is maintain this - a challenge which is great to have!" c2c is the only railway in the UK operating an entirely new fleet of trains. |
