The latest National Passenger Survey (NPS) figures released today by Passenger Focus show Essex train operator c2c – a National Express franchise - as the joint best performing franchised Train Operating Company in the country achieving 91% for overall customer satisfaction in the spring 2009 survey.

Essex train operators c2c and National Express East Anglia (NXEA) will be operating extra trains to Southend-on-Sea for the ‘Festival of the Air’ airshow on Sunday 24 & Bank Holiday Monday 25 May for the thousands of extra people who will be travelling to the resort for the annual airshow.

Essex train operator c2c – a National Express franchise – has become the best-performing train operator in the country with a service punctuality of 95.3% to the year ended 31 March 2009.

Essex train operator c2c is informing customers travelling on their train services over the forthcoming Easter weekend (10 – 13 April 2009) that Network Rail have no planned improvement works taking place and a full service is expected to operate, with some minor retimings only.

In the year up to 28 February 2009, trains operated by c2c achieved an average punctuality level of 95% making c2c one of the top performing train operators in the country.

Figures released today from the National Passenger Survey (NPS) show c2c as the joint best performing franchised Train Operating Company in the country achieving 90% for overall customer satisfaction.
