c2c gives love a helping hand
Calling all single ladies; did your partner disappoint you on Valentine’s Day? Did you dream of him proposing and he didn’t? Don’t forget its Leap Year which means you can ask him to marry you – and National Express train operator c2c is ready to help you pop the question in a very unusual way.
If you want to propose on Wednesday February 29 c2c will help by letting one lucky lady declare their love over the public tannoy at Fenchurch Street Station and another lucky lovebird will be able to ask for her partner’s hand via one of c2c’s on board train service announcements.
Julian Drury, c2c’s Managing Director, said: “We thought Cupid needed a helping hand and this is a very special way for the romantics who use c2c’s services to pop the question. It will definitely be memorable and we think many of our passengers are old romantics at heart.”
c2c is offering this chance to just two lucky ladies (one to ask at Fenchurch Street and one to ask on train.) So if you want to propose on Leap Year Day just email your details to smartscribblespr@btconnect.com by 5pm on Friday February 24 (stating which option you are applying for). Names will be picked from the entries.
