With Rail in the UK receiving substantial investment, the industry provides some of the biggest engineering opportunities in the country. The c2c Graduate Engineering Scheme is unique in offering you a breadth of experience across key industry players.
The scheme is part of the Accredited Railway Engineering Scheme (REGS) run in partnership with Rail Delivery Group (RDG), and governed by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). The scheme is geared up to helping you achieve full Chartered status over four years.
Gaining exposure to the whole company, you will be based within Headquarters rotating between Finance, Property, Commercial, Customer Services and HR functions. You will then take on an external placement within the industry, offering you a breadth of experience and a unique overview to fully equip you for your future career. A 2:1 degree is the minimum requirement.
With a passion for people management, you’ll get right under the skin of what makes our business really tick with a series of rotations covering a full range of operations. These will be followed by relevant project management placements and an external placement with Network Rail. To be considered you’ll need to have gained a 2:1 degree and have a genuine interest for a career in the rail industry.
